Report for May
Spring Chinook fishing has been fair to great
on the Columbia and at the mouth of the Wind River.
Multiple fish days are the norm with the Columbia putting out
15-25 pound salmon and the Wind River fish averaging 12-17
pounds.
Later in the month the run will start
diminishing in the main river and we will start to focus on the
tributaries such as the Lewis and the Cowlitz for Springers and
Summer Steelhead!
Every thing is pointing toward a great Summer
Steelhead season this year and the springers will be available
in good numbers for at least another month.
