On Halloween there were several sightings of sturgeon throughout Washington State ... most sightings were dismissed as hoaxes or the wild ramblings of fanatical sturgeon chasers ... however these images were captured! (Images have not been studied by forensic scientists to determine authenticity) Avid angler and Columbia River Sturgeon enthusiast, Troy Schmidt in his Sturgeon costume! Pro Columbia River fishing guide Lacey DeWeert and one happy customer, with his 43 pound Upriver Bright Chinook Salmon caught on the Columbia River at Buoy 10! This is one of the largest salmon taken out of the lower Columbia River this season! Lacey with a limit of ocean Coho Salmon and six fat Kelp Greenling! Green sturgeon! Green sturgeon!
